Vice President at Stifel Financial Corp, New York, NYJOB DUTIES: (F/T) Provide strategic financial advice to companies, creditors, shareholders, or third-parties involved in complex and transformational corporate financial situations, including recapitalizations, restructurings, other modifications to debt or liabilities, distressed acquisitions, sales and divestitures, and debt and equity financings. Execute mandates involving debtors or creditors in recapitalization transactions, creating in-depth quantitative financial models and analyses, sourcing new debt or equity capital, and developing financial and strategic presentations for clients. Write offering memoranda describing the company's strategy and growth prospects.Help clients achieve their financial and strategic objectives by providing investment recommendations based on market research into innovations and new technology developments.JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in any field, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered, as Research Associate, or related position. Full term of experience must include each of the following:Conducting or performing financial analysis to biotech companies;Performing qualitative research including market and business intelligence research;Analyzing financial and operational performance of biotech companies and building financial models depicting historical and future results;Creating financial models and performing valuation on analysis to define strategic or financial issues; and, Assessing regulatory and clinical risks associated with healthcare and the development of therapeutics or medical devices, requiring knowledge of Food and Drug Administration and European Medicines Agency regulations.SALARY: $200,000-$250,000 per yearQUALIFIED APPLICANTS: To apply, email resume to [email protected].
