Arcesium seeks an experienced, highly motivated Lead Web Developer to join our Marketing team. This role will be strategic in the execution and support of Arcesium’s web properties, responsible for developing best-in-class modern user experiences while ensuring our sites’ security and availability. Beyond being an accomplished developer, the Lead Web Developer will be involved in many lanes of technical and strategic work, helping lead and manage the tools and services necessary for the execution of technical SEO, analytics, personalization, CRO, and other web initiatives. A comprehensive understanding of project and stakeholder management, paired with the ability to formally document technical processes and procedures in the absence of existing resources, will be essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance web experiences that drive lead generation, content engagement, and conversions.
- Collaborate with peers, stakeholders, and outside agencies to translate marketing goals and initiatives into scalable web solutions that enhance the user experience and drive measurable results.
- Lead the technical direction of our technology stack, focusing on performance, scalability, and user engagement.
- Own the end-to-end development of features and systems – from architecture and implementation to optimization and long-term maintenance.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code that adheres to best web development, SEO, GEO, and accessibility practices and standards.
- Leverage data-driven insights to optimize website performance, user journeys, and conversion rates through continuous iteration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our web portfolio is aligned with the firm’s broader business objectives and strategies.
- Monitor site performance and implement improvements to ensure fast load times, high availability, and seamless user interactions.
- Provide technical mentorship to peers, contributing to a culture of positive continuous improvement and high-quality deliverables.
- Drive the adoption of modern web technologies, tools, and methodologies that improve the effectiveness of the team and enhance overall website performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in modern full-stack web development.
- Mastery of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks, including React.
- Experience with modern content management systems, including integrating and customizing CMS platforms for dynamic content delivery.
- Proven expert in web performance optimization, core web vitals, technical SEO, responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and WCAG accessibility.
- Experience with GraphQL, REST, basics, and the ability to interact with APIs.
- Working understanding of Figma and other UI design tools and modern design patterns.
- Experience with data analytics capture and reporting tools and services (e.g. GA4, Looker, MS Clarity, HubSpot, SEMrush, Screaming Frog).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with the ability to understand and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences in a remote workplace environment.
- Able to lead projects and manage stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring successful deadline-driven outcomes are met.
- Extremely self-motivated, with great time management skills and exceptional attention to detail.

The expected annual base salary for this position is $160,000 - $190,000. Our compensation package includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus, guaranteed in the first year of hire, benefits including medical and prescription drug coverage, and 401k contribution matching.
The applicable annual base salary paid to a successful applicant will be determined based on multiple factors including without limitation the nature and extent of prior experience and educational background. #LI-JS1 #LI-Hybrid
