PROSPERAR at SUNY Orange has provided our college community with a wonderful opportunity to Accelerate and amplify our Guided Pathways/SOEX work with targeted strategies identified to increase the support and success of all students, and particularly our growing Hispanic student population.
Reporting to the PROSPERAR Program Director, the part-time PROSPERAR Instructional Designer will work closely with faculty to provide high-level support in redesigning first year and gateway courses. Additionally, The PROSPERAR Instructional Designer will play an active function in course design, utilizing learning management systems and consistently collaborating with faculty and the PROSPERAR Academic Data Analyst.
General Requirements:
Education Required: Master's degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Technology or a related field.
practice Required: Three (3) years of practice in creating both Online and face-to-face learning practices and environments.
Preferred expertise, expertise, Abilities and Worker Characteristics:
»College-level teaching practice, preferably at a community college.
» practice in learning analytics and data for content, course, and program creation.
»Excellent communication expertise and capability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff.
»College-level curriculum design practice.
»Bilingual; Spanish.
