Payroll implementation specialist
As a Payroll Implementation Specialist at UZIO, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional support to clients during payroll implementation and ongoing payroll support. You will ensure a seamless onboarding experience for clients transitioning to UZIO Payroll, addressing any issues or inquiries with professionalism and providing expert guidance on payroll-related matters. This role requires a strong understanding of U.S. payroll systems and compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as a commitment to outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:Act as the primary point of contact for clients during payroll implementation, handling inquiries, questions, and concerns efficiently.
Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, email, and chat, ensuring a timely and professional approach.
Assist new and existing clients in setting up and maintaining payroll accounts, including employee records, pay schedules, and tax information.
Provide clients with step-by-step guidance on payroll processing and deliver training on UZIO’s payroll system and other related features.
Review payroll data for accuracy before processing to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and enhance the client support experience.
Stay up-to-date with changes in federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations, ensuring clients remain compliant.
Offer regular feedback to management on potential system improvements based on client interactions and experiences. Must-Have Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive payroll information with discretion. Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., CPP) are a plus.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in U.S. payroll processing, client support, or a related field.
Experience with payroll software and systems is essential.
Strong understanding of U.S. payroll regulations, including federal and state tax laws, wage and hour laws, and compliance requirements. Work Hours:
