About TEGNA

With 64 television stations in 51 U.S. markets, TEGNA reaches more than 100 million people monthly across the web, mobile apps, streaming, and linear television. Together, we are building a sustainable future for local news.

We’re looking for a Product Owner to take ownership of the AI product roadmap, ensure alignment between business goals and user needs, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver intelligent AI solutions that will integrate across a digital portfolio. As the bridge between stakeholders and development teams, you’ll help shape product vision into actionable user stories and features that deliver real value.

Who you are

The AI Product Owner will partner with members of the Product Leadership team to construct and maintain a dynamic and ever-evolving product roadmap. You are obsessed with the AI landscape and are constantly looking for ways to leverage AI/ML concepts into high value outcomes. You’re a natural translator, skilled at turning complexity into clarity—both for users and development teams. You thrive in cross-functional teams and have the collaboration chops to bring people together and align around a shared vision. You understand agile principles and love working iteratively, using data and feedback to guide your decisions. You’re organized, pragmatic, and focused on delivering real outcomes—not just features. Moreover, you are motivated and inspired by TEGNA’s mission to connect and service local communities everywhere.

Scope of Responsibility
