Registered Nurse (Short Term)
THIS IS NOT A FULL TIME JOB. IT IS SHORT TERM COVERAGE.
A typical day in the life of a Medcor Nurse:
- Collaborate with a team that provides excellent customer service to Medcor’s client and employees
- Administer vaccinations according to protocol
- Provide education and answer questions pertaining to vaccines
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions
- Document utilizing an electronic medical record
- Assist with daily clinic operations including clerical, IT, medical supply management, and medical equipment maintenance
You Must
- Have valid unrestricted New York RN license and current CPR/BLS certification
- Have experience administering vaccinations in a fast-paced setting
- Have a positive and outgoing personality
- Be good at prioritizing and multitasking
- Be willing to go above and beyond to give excellent customer service
- Love people and giving them the best care humanly possible
You Should
- Have a minimum of 2 years field experience
- Be able to follow processes and procedures with excellence
- Be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and documenting using an EMR
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
