Inside Sales Representative
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to manage and grow revenue within existing accounts for a reputable promotional products company in the Capital Region. In this role, you will focus on strengthening customer relationships, identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities, and increasing account penetration through proactive outreach. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment.
This position offers a competitive hourly base plus commission tied to revenue growth and account performance. High-performing individuals in this role will have the opportunity to transition into an Outside Sales Representative position. Key Responsibilities:
-Manage and nurture relationships with assigned accounts to drive revenue growth.
-Proactively contact customers via phone, email, and virtual meetings to identify additional sales opportunities.
-Increase account revenue through upselling, cross-selling, and re-engaging dormant customers.
-Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
-Maintain consistent communication with customers to ensure satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnerships.
-Track sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
-Collaborate with outside sales, customer service, and operations teams to support customer requirements.
-Prepare quotes, process orders, and follow up to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction.
-Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales and revenue growth targets. Provide insights on customer trends, market conditions, and potential product opportunities.
-3–5 years of experience in inside sales, account management, or customer-facing sales.
-Demonstrated success growing revenue within existing accounts. Strong phone, email, and virtual selling skills.
-Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
-Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize opportunities effectively.
-Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) preferred.
-Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams Self-motivated with a strong results-oriented mindset. Compensation & Benefits Base Pay:
