Production Assembler - C Shift

Location: 1385 Fairport Rd, Fairport, NY 14450

Hire type: Full-Time

Shift: 3rd Shift (10:30 PM-7 AM)

Pay Range: $19.50/hr plus shift differential

Position Overview:

We are seeking Production Assemblers to join our C Shift production team at our Fairport, NY facility. This position requires the ability to work efficiently toward daily production quotas and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sets up and operates assembly equipment such as small hydraulic presses, staking, small drill presses, welding machines, air drivers, spin riveters, and winders.

• Rotates in other work cells as instructed by Supervisor or Cell Leader.

• Packs finished product for shipment.

• Maintains work area to ensure a safe and clean work environment.

• Actively participates in making and implementing cell improvements.

• Performs duties in accordance with established quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Must have proficient English reading and writing skills and be able to read and comprehend MSDS sheets and standard work instructions. High School Diploma/GED is preferred.

• Minimum 1 year experience in an assembly or lean manufacturing environment.

• Manual dexterity and mechanical proficiency.

• Ability to use various hand and power tools and equipment to read measuring devices.

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly exerting up to 20 lbs. of force and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

• Bending body downward and forward at the waist.

• Standing for sustained periods of time.

• Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks.
