The successful candidate will maintain and enhance tools used during end-to-end tax provision and compliance processes. The role supports the global income tax reporting and compliance services to the Arch group. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with Finance. We would love to talk with candidates who have both tax technology and provisioning experience.This role will sit in the White Plains, NY office on a hybrid schedule of two days in the office, three days remote.**Responsibilities and Accountabilities*** Enhance efficiency and effectiveness of global tax operations using models and software tools* Provide data management including upkeep of tax software data hierarchies and mappings* Support the long-term tax technology roadmap by assisting in software implementations* Liaise with relevant and associated areas and groups within the business process to establish, support and maintain business relationships and organizational effectiveness* This position may assist with preparation of the quarterly tax provision, tax footnote, annual tax compliance and ad hoc tax planning projects on an as-needed basis**Required Skills and Abilities*** 3+ years public accounting corporate tax technology or tax provisioning experience* Familiarity with global tax provisioning tools such as Longview, OneSource, or Corptax* Data analysis and data extraction skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills* Ability to manage deadlines and demonstrate effective time management* Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a strong operational focus* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills**Desired Skills and Abilities*** Experience with process improvement & data visualization through leveraging technology tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, etc.* Strong understanding of tax systems and interfaces* Knowledge and experience with ERPs such as Workday* Experience in property, casualty and/or mortgage insurance or reinsurance operations* Experience in international tax and non-US parent company**Education and Experience*** BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems or related field* CPA certification preferred#LI- AT1#LI-HybridFor individuals assigned or hired to work in the location(s) indicated below, the base salary range is provided. Range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.$98,000 - $120,000/year* Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs.
