Line Cook
Overview: Faux is seeking a full-time LINE COOK to join our opening team! We’re building a focused, high-energy kitchen and looking for cooks who take pride in their work, move with urgency, and want to be part of building a team.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Line Cook or similar role
- Fundamental knowledge on cooking techniques, knife skills and food safety
- Able to follow systems, recipes and directions
- Ability to work well in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
- Reliable, punctual, and professional with a positive attitude
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods during shifts
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs
Responsibilities
- Follow all BOH systems, processes, and daily checklists
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace following food safety and sanitation standards
- Run and maintain your station through prep, service, and breakdown
- Execute dishes consistently with attention to detail and presentation
- Uphold the presentation and quality of food to a high standard
- Strong communication with BOH team to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Contribute to a positive, accountable kitchen culture
