Stripe, Inc.: Machine Learning Engineer - New York City, New York (and various unanticipated work locations across the U.S.) DUTIES: Propose new ideas, design and implement experiment hypotheses that have business impact; Cleaning, preprocessing, and transforming large datasets to prepare them for machine learning model training; Selecting and implementing relevant machine learning algorithms (e.g., XGBoost trees, neural networks) to train predictive models; Designing robust and scalable machine learning systems to integrate with existing infrastructure and business applications; Deploying trained models into production environments and continuously monitoring their performance to identify potential issues; Collaborate and execute projects cross-functionally with product and business stakeholders.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field and 3 years of ML industry experience shipping ML models to production. Position requires the following:3 years of experience with Python & SQL.3 years of experience with ML frameworks & tools including at least one of the following: Jupyter, XGBoost, Pandas.2 years of experience in operating production systems & pager rotation.2 years of experience in working collaboratively with product & business partners.2 years of experience in working on cloud platforms, including Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services.2 years of experience in performing analysis, including querying data and defining metrics to model performance and business metrics.
