Software Engineer

Description:

ENG- Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions that support business and mission requirements. Develop embedded C/C++ applications, maintain legacy software, and support CI/CD pipeline enhancements in a classified environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-performance software systems while ensuring compliance with established software standards.

#Education & Job Requirements

*Bachelor's degree and 9-15 years of experience or Master's degree and 7-13 years of experience
*6+ years of experience with C++
*Embedded C/C++ experience
*Experience with CI/CD pipelines
*Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
*Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

#Preferred Skills

*6+ years of experience with Embedded Systems
*Bare metal programming experience
*Hardware driver development experience

#Job Duties & Functions

*Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities
*Design, develop, document, test, and debug software containing logical and mathematical solutions to business and mission requirements
*Apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the software development lifecycle
*Utilize knowledge of computer hardware, software, information processing techniques, and user requirements to develop software solutions
*Correct program errors and prepare operating instructions
*Compile documentation supporting program development activities
*Analyze system capabilities to resolve questions involving program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls
*Ensure compliance with software standards
*Develop and maintain C++ code for secure processing applications
*Create new software applications and maintain legacy code utilized by existing systems
*Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines to streamline development processes
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and deliver prototypes and fully capable systems
*Verify software solutions meet security and performance requirements
