Overview

The Client Finance Manager at SSW will partner with several teams across the agency to own all financial aspects for a group of clients, from start to end, including staffing plans, revenue forecasting, SOWs, and client presentations. The Client Finance Manager will partner with the Account Management, Project Management and Resource Management teams in order to assess client profitability and make recommendations on improvements based on data analysis. They will be planning, setting calendars and schedules and prioritizing client & internal deliverables for their team. In addition, the CFM will also partner with the Associate Finance Director in order to provide commentary on monthly revenue and team performance. Lastly but most importantly, this role will be a mentor and manager for a team of four employees.

Responsibilities

• Own all the financial aspects for a group of clients within the agencies, from start to end, including staffing, revenue forecasting, value add opportunities, SOWs, and client presentations.
• Provide client profitability analysis monthly and recommend improvements.
• Partner with Project Management and Account Management teams to oversee all financials related to group of clients.
• Ensure agency is informed of how client is tracking vs. their budgets.
• Partner with SVP of Finance and Operations, Associate Finance Director, and FP&A team to ensure timely delivery of reports, and to ensure all financial controls and policies are in place and followed.
• Provide monthly P&L detail related to group of clients, including revenue, staffing costs, and headcount.
• Provide P&L commentary on actuals and variances as they relate to owned group of clients.
• Manage and mentor a team of four financial analysts and finance coordinators, and ensure they are trained to maintain budget trackers and other working files and oversee the integrity and regular maintenance of team’s working files.
• Assist financial analysts and coordinators in variance analysis and commentary.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years in a finance analytical role
• 3-4 years of management experience
• 3-4 years of experience in a client-facing and/or agency role a plus.
• Proficient in Excel
• Experience using HFM, SmartView, SAP, or other finance and accounting software
• Experience working in a cross-functional role

Compensation Range: $60,800.00 - $93,600.00 Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
