TONCHIN started in Tokyo, Japan in 1992. We have four locations in Japan, eleven in Taiwan, two in Shanghai, one in Thailand. To this day, we still aim to give our customers the best ramen with the freshest ingredients. We make out ramen noodles every day from scratch, using the best quality ingredients. Out belief is that "homemade" and "just made" ramen is the best ramen.

Currently, we are seeking a full-time Floor Manager Position to join our team.
All of our team members face our guests. We highly value those who are professional, friendly, and organized.
SUMMARY: The Floor Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of our restaurant, including the selection, development, and performance management of employees. Their duties include supervising employees during day-to-day tasks, providing customer support in escalated situations and managing the overall workflow of a workplace , optimizing profits, and ensuring that guests are satisfied with their dining experience. The Floor Manager reports to the General Manager.
- Responsible for ensuring that all financial (reporting) and personnel/payroll-related administrative duties are completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with company policies and procedures. Food safety and planning: - Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.
- Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.
- Responsible for ensuring consistent high-quality food preparation and service. ™
- Maintain professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards.
- Must have/get food handler certification Guest service: - Ensure positive guest service in all areas. Respond to complaints, taking any and all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests. Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Self-discipline, initiative, leadership ability and outgoing.
- Pleasant, polite manner and a neat and clean appearance.
- Ability to motivate employees to work as a team to ensure that food and service meet appropriate standards.
- Must be able to handle the pressures of simultaneously coordinating a wide range of activities and recommend appropriate solutions to restaurant problems.
- Must possess good communication skills for dealing with diverse staff.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks such as food, beverage and labor cost while maintaining required standards of operation in daily restaurant activities.
- Must be able to work doubles, weekends, holidays, and up to 45 hours/week
