Title: Partnerships and Employment Specialist Program: Care Corps (Next Step) Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000 per year Program Description Care Corps is Project Renewal’s newly launched, sector-based training program that provides a pathway for New Yorkers interested in pursuing careers in the behavioral health nursing support workforce. Since 2000, Project Renewal has helped nearly 5,000 New Yorkers find and retain employment, achieve economic security, lead more fulfilling lives, and positively contribute to their communities. Each year, we enroll over 600 adults who have significant barriers to employment including those with histories of homelessness, substance use, underemployment, mental health diagnoses, and criminal justice involvement. Our comprehensive approach allows us to work individually with each client to minimize barriers to employment and prepare them for the world of work. Essential Duties And Responsibilities The essential duties of the Partnership & Employment Specialist include but are not limited to the following activities:- Establish and maintain a network of healthcare partners to promote program growth and expand workforce opportunities aligned with the skills training program.
- Manage a caseload of job seekers and facilitate placement of Care Corps graduates into employment across healthcare and other partner organizations.
- Represent Care Corps at industry events, meetings, and public forums to build awareness and support.
- Support program evaluation by providing partner feedback and data to demonstrate program impact and key outcomes.
- Contribute to strategies for program sustainability, including identifying opportunities for long-term government contracts and other revenue sources.
- Track and report on partnership development, program expansion, and graduate placement outcomes.
- High School diploma or equivalent (BA preferred)
- Proven success in developing and managing partnerships, preferably in healthcare or social service sectors.
- Experience working in performance-based programs.
- Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills with the ability to inspire and engage adult learners.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Prior experience supporting individuals with barriers to employment, including challenges related to housing instability, substance use, or mental health.
