Our cryogenic measurement systems, cryocoolers, and pioneering cryogenic products enable physicists and scientists worldwide to push the boundaries of discovery and innovation.
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Account Manager to join our growing Sales team. In this high-impact role, you will develop and lead strategic customer relationships with major enterprise clients in the quantum technology and high-tech manufacturing sectors. You'll drive long-term account growth, manage complex sales cycles, and represent cutting-edge cryogenic technologies to some of the most innovative companies in the world.
Our office is in Brooklyn NY, but for this position we're looking for a remote employee to work with our US west coast customers in the state of California. Candidates must reside in California to be considered. Please note that this role requires the ability to travel more than 50% of the time.
Salary range: $140-170k plus bonus
Your main responsibilities would be
- Lead strategic account management for a portfolio of key clients across the US and Canada, managing portfolio sales, understanding customer needs, aligning solutions to meet them, and taking ownership of creating, executing, and closing sales opportunities.
- Develop and execute account strategies that align customer objectives with Bluefors' technology solutions and business goals.
- Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships together with account team and be responsible for driving services initiatives within the account
- Collaborate with the sales, and technical teams to deliver excellent customer service and support
- Serve as the customer advocate, handling client inquiries, resolving issues in a timely manner, coordinating cross-functional resources, and developing best practices to deliver excellent service and technical support.
- Monitor market and competitor trends to identify new opportunities and influence strategic direction.
- Forecast and track account metrics, providing regular performance and pipeline reports to leadership.
- Contribute to sales process improvement and mentor team members where appropriate.
What we expect from you
- Minimum MSc/BSc level degree in a relevant field (Business, Marketing, Technology, or related)
- 10+years experience in sales and/or account management, preferably in an international environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Background on working in complex technical industry with technical buyers
- A deep understanding of high-technology products and services sales
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Goal-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
