About the Position
- Contract Duration: June 1, 2026 – August 29, 2026
- Shift: Day Shift
- Shift Length: 12.5 hours
- Schedule Options:
- 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Flexible 8 or 10-hour shifts based on hospital needs
- Weekly Guarantee: 40 hours/week
- On-Call: No
Responsibilities
- Assess and manage patients with wounds, ostomies, and continence conditions
- Develop and implement wound care treatment plans
- Perform dressing changes and wound evaluations
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families on wound management and prevention
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention and safety standards

Mandatory
- Current New York State RN License
- WOCN Certification (Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing)
- Minimum 2+ years of Wound Care RN experience
- Experience using Epic EMR
