Marketing Director Hospitality
Our client is looking for a Marketing Director with recent Hospitality experience (ideally hotel). They will NOT consider anyone without this experience. This is onsite in NYC 4 days a week and remote on Fridays (non negotiable). Some commuting to Washington DC will be required.This role will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, increase occupancy rates, and enhance guest satisfaction. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker with a proven track record in overseeing agency partnerships and delivering impactful marketing campaigns. ### Responsibilities * Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to promote the hotel's brand and services. * Oversee all marketing activities, including digital marketing, social media, content creation, and traditional advertising. * Manage relationships with external marketing agencies, ensuring alignment with the hotel's goals and objectives. * Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and the competitive landscape. * Collaborate with the sales team to create promotional materials and campaigns that drive bookings and revenue. * Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve targets. * Plan and execute events, promotions, and partnerships to enhance the hotel's visibility and reputation. * Maintain the hotel's website, ensuring content is up-to-date and optimized for search engines. * Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. * Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve marketing efforts.### Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the hospitality industry. * Proven experience in overseeing agency partnerships and managing external vendors. * Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and content creation. * Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. * Ability to think creatively and strategically to solve problems and drive results. * In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
