Experienced MICHELIN STARRED CHEF Needed for Prestigious New York City Residence

• Position: Temporary Live-Out EXPERIENCED Chef
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, Dinner only, to be served prepped/served between 5:30-7:30 p.m
• Salary: $500 -$750. per day, depending on experience
• Start Date: ASAP, TEMPORARY 5/8/26-Mid/Late July, potentially longer
• Relocation: No – local candidates only

This opportunity is with a distinguished family residing in a sophisticated Midtown New York City residence. The household seeks a Michelin Starred Chef who specializes in preparing authentic Italian cuisine. The family values professionalism, discretion, and a high standard of care to support their executive lifestyle. • Household Staff: Potentially, 2 additional staff members

Responsibilities

The Chef will be responsible for, including but not limited to:

• Prepare nightly dinners for distinguished Executive(s) typically served no later than 7:30 PM, with occasional flexibility in timing.

• Grocery shop for all ingredients, including standard items, non-standard produce, and specialty items requested by the family or Executive Assistant, while sourcing authentic Italian ingredients.

• Maintain strict awareness of food preferences and dietary restrictions. Experience cooking authentic Italian cuisine is essential.

• Ensure the kitchen is thoroughly cleaned after meal preparation,including dishes and all appliances used.

• Set the dinner table, serve, and pour water as needed. Excellence in service is required daily. A respectful and service-oriented approach is expected.

Flexibility and dependability are essential, especially given the potential for scheduling changes due to the family’s travel plans. Attention to detail is paramount, as the household maintains high-end standards befitting an executive environment. Fluency in both Italian and English is preferred to effectively communicate within the household.

Requirements

• Fluency in Italian and English is preferred
• Previous experience in a high-end residential Chef role
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion
• Flexibility with scheduling, including occasional changes
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Valid work authorization for the United States
