In this role, you will:
- Perform assigned tasks at cleaning sites, including but not limited to carpet cleaning, stripping, waxing, and buffing.
- Assist in moving supplies and equipment as needed.
- Notify supervisor of problems/difficulties in performing job duties.
- Monitor inventory of supplies and notify the team leader when the need for replenishment arises.
- Notify the team leader if the equipment is not working properly.
We require:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Qualified NYS Driver’s License
- At least six months of porter cleaning experience or completion of the ACCES–VR porter training program
- Ability to perform medium to heavy manual labor; ability to understand instructions given by supervisor
- Some training in the use of commercial cleaning equipment
- Carpet cleaning, stripping, waxing, and buffing experience
