Construction Superintendent

Superintendent Commercial Construction
A well-established construction management and general contracting firm with 50 years of consistent growth is seeking a Superintendent to manage day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects.
This is a boots-on-the-ground leadership role. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are built on time, on budget, and to specification coordinating subcontractors, managing site safety, and maintaining quality standards every day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily construction operations on-site
- Ensure full OSHA safety compliance across the project
- Schedule and coordinate inspections
- Track and report project issues in real time
- Maintain detailed daily job logs
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Perform quality control inspections throughout construction
- Manage labor, equipment, and material logistics
- Schedule subcontractors and vendors
- Lead weekly foreman meetings
- Prepare three-week look-ahead schedules
- Review monthly requisitions with the Project Manager
- Manage site access and security
You need to be organized, decisive, and comfortable leading from the field.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 3+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or Senior Foreman
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction procedures and methods
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- OSHA training/certification required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred:
- Experience with Autodesk Build
- Background in commercial projects ($2M$20M+ range)
- Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors simultaneously
