POSITION SUMMARY :

Accurate and timely completion of route accounting including the inputting of the deposits, researching driver’s variances, updating, and running all respective reports.

REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary.

  • Upload driver’s handhelds.
  • Audit driver’s paperwork to ensure receipt and for company charge compliance.
  • Accurate entry of route accounting documents, miscellaneous debits and credits.
  • Input deposits and check accuracy of total deposit.
  • Input corrections from variance sheets and create new invoices when necessary.
  • Balance all routes.
  • Update and distribute all respective reports.
  • Accurately process and apply payments collected by drivers. Review checks for compliance with check acceptance policy.
  • Handle and secure cash/check deposits in accordance with company policies.
  • Enter data into internal route accounting systems and spreadsheets.
  • Work collaboratively with drivers, sales reps, and warehouse staff to resolve discrepancies.
  • Support the Office Manager with other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Maintain organized records for audits and reporting purposes.
  • Perform basic Excel functions (data entry, formatting, formulas).

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with confidential files, documents and other information.
  • Related training or certification.
  • Previous cash handling experience required.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (training provided on internal systems).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Must be dependable, professional, and comfortable in a fast-paced office setting.

Additional Details:

  • Training: On-the-job training will be provided.
  • Schedule may vary based on locations needs, however main schedule will be 1-7:30pm
  • This is a floater position, requiring the ability to work at different company locations based on operational needs. This may include a flex shift and may also require Mon-Fri or Tues-Sat work week.
  • This position will travel to different locations. Reliable personal transportation is preferred.

COMPENSATION RANGE:

Potential earning is from $20.00 - $24.00 Hourly DOE
