JOB DESCRIPTION
this job offer is a temporary position for 2-3 months starting in November 2023POSITION SUMMARY
this job offer is responsible to be the first contact for callers at the Northern Rivers phone number and for visitors at the Albany Academy Road site. this job offer is expected to provide excellent customer service to employees, clients, and the general business community who interact with our agency. In this function, will direct phone calls to appropriate agency staff and perform routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, copying, scanning, faxing, handling packages.
ESSENTIAL tasks AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other tasks may be assigned.
»Greet visitors and callers, handle their inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate person according to their needs while maintaining security at the worksite
»Answer telephones and give information to callers; take messages or transfer calls to appropriate individuals as appropriate
»Operate office equipment such as phone system, fax machine, copier, scanner, and use computers for simple spreadsheet maintenance, word processing, database management, and other applications
»Maintain paper and electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, and other material
»Receive packages and mail for the worksite
»Manage distribution of bus tokens
EDUCATION and/or practice
Requires a High School diploma or equivalent and at least six months to one year of related practice.
CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE
None required.
