Setting: hospital radiology department performing CT studies in a travel temporary assignment. This role requires NY licensure (or proof of application), ARRT CT certification, and NYS DOH venipuncture certification. Public transportation is not available in the area; reliable personal transportation is strongly recommended.

Responsibilities
- Perform cross-sectional CT imaging procedures (chest, abdomen, pelvis, head, c-spine, PE studies) with appropriate patient positioning and protocol adherence.
- Administer IV contrast injections per protocol; obtain venipuncture certification as required and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Operate CT scanners (including Philips CT systems on site) and ensure high-quality imaging, patient safety, and radiation safety practices.
- Review orders in EPIC, document findings, and communicate results to radiologists and referring teams; assist with patient care coordination.
- Support unit operations during scheduled calls and holidays; participate in a rotating schedule as needed to meet patient care demands.
- Assist with airway/respiratory support needs when applicable and respond to emergencies in the radiology environment.

Requirements
- Active ARRT CT certification
- NYS Department of Health venipuncture certification
- NY license to practice radiologic technology, or documented proof of application with date of applied submission
- Minimum 1 year of clinical radiology experience; CT experience required
- EPIC experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable)
- Ability to work in a hospital radiology setting, including nights and on-call/holiday rotations as scheduled
- Fluency with safety protocols and patient care in a high-volume CT environment
