**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the retail location.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and monitor for any unusual circumstances.
+ Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives.
+ Interact professionally with visitors, staff, and/or customers, addressing their questions and concerns as appropriate while maintaining a visible security-related presence.
+ Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by Allied Universal and/or site management for the retail environment.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ A Guard Card or license is preferred.
+ Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
+ A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
