General Laborer (2 Openings)
Liverpool, NY | Monday–Friday 6:45am–3:15pm | Occasional OT
$18–$23/hour DOE
Sapphire Recruitment is hiring two General Laborers to support an established machine shop in Liverpool, NY. You’ll assist the shop team with hands-on production support, parts finishing, and keeping the work area organized. This is a strong opportunity to work toward a machining apprenticeship and build a long-term career.
What You’ll Do
Follow drawings or verbal instructions to complete production tasks
Operate/support equipment (including band saw ) and help distribute inventory
Feed metal parts into machines and remove finished products
Deburr and finish parts (remove sharp edges/burrs)
Assist with coolant monitoring/maintenance
Maintain shop cleanliness, organization, and a safe work environment
What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role
Interest in machining and willingness to pursue an apprenticeship
Ability to comply with drug screening and other pre-employment requirements
