Commercial Collections Analyst

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Commercial Collections Analyst in New York, NY. Overview: The candidate will be managing a cable advertising portfolio of about 100 million, across ad agencies and with large and mid-size agencies. They will be doing collection outreach, discrepancy management and resolution, and analysis reporting. This individual will be reporting in Excel, formulas and VLOOKUP's and charts/pivots. We have different sites that this team will communicate with, they may be needing to partner with teams in South America, so bilingual in Spanish is a plus. We have some metrics that we analyze, reviewing 100's of line items, invoices are on a network level and an advertising level, will share line items between a team of 4 (around 30k line items). They are managing KPI's and metrics in the data as well. Candidates who have worked previously with enterprise size organizations do best in this type of environment given the volume of data.

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Economic preferred
• General knowledge of accounting principles
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong communication skills - oral, written, interpersonal

• Percentage reduction of overall A/R
• Established monthly cash goals
• Quarterly goal of over 90+ percentage
• Reduction of Discrepancies
• DSO calculations

Nice to Have:

• ERP experience is a nice to have, SAP is a plus
• Collections experience a plus
• Language skill a plus, Bilingual Spanish
• Experience in cable industry a plus

Deal Breakers: We do a good amount of reporting in Excel; a beginner will not really be a good fit. Candidates who have worked previously with enterprise size organizations do best in this type of environment given the volume of data. They should be adaptable and flexible as this environment is going through a time of transformation and evolution, we are working in multiple ERP systems.
