Strategist, Social Marketing & Strategy
Reporting to the Associate Director, Social Marketing & Strategy, this role is ideal for a collaborative strategist who blends creative content ideas with smart social strategy to drive results.
Candidates must be based in the New York City area. This hybrid role requires three in-office days per week, with occasional travel to the client’s office in New Jersey. Responsibilities- Deliver ongoing thought leadership to internal teams and clients by identifying challenges and developing strategic solutions
- Develop insight-driven briefs that include inspiration, creative direction, and feedback, and translate strategy into effective social creative
- Build a strong understanding of the client’s industry and category, forming a clear point of view through trend audits, cultural insights, and social content trends
- Support community engagement across social channels, including audience interaction and moderation
- Partner closely with creative teams to push ideas forward and ensure work aligns with strategic objectives
- Serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day client communication on assigned workstreams
- Analyze social and audience data to uncover insights and inform content strategy and performance optimization
- Identify actionable insights from social and audience data and apply them to inform strategy and creative direction
- Manage timelines and coordinate with creators and internal teams to ensure work moves efficiently from brief through execution
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, or a related field required; equivalent relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree
- Deep expertise in and passion for social media and digital culture
- Strong understanding of internet culture and emerging trends, with the ability to apply them to brand strategy
- Agency experience required
- Experience supporting day-to-day client relationships and owning areas of business
- Experience working with social analytics, audience insights, platform-native insights and third-party tools like Sprinklr, Sprout, YouGov, YouScan etc. to help with social content analysis, content optimizations and strategy/brief development

Regardless of your work location, we expect our employees to be flexible to meet the needs of our Company and clients, which may include attendance in an office.
The annual salary range for this position is $66,300-$90,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
