POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Senior Specialist, Digital Retail Operations plays a critical role in ensuring flawless, high-quality execution across Nespresso’s Digital Retail platforms. As the executional and analytical backbone of our digital retail ecosystem, this role supports the work of Commercial Development, Digital Retail Customer Account Managers, Digital Shelf, and Shopper Marketing by translating commercial strategies into consistent, accurate, and timely execution across key digital touchpoints.

 

This role provides support across retailer platforms, enabling readiness for launches, promotions, and content changes. The Sr. Specialist manages performance tracking tools, mitigates executional risks, and supports continuous improvement efforts - ensuring Nespresso’s premium presence is maximized across the digital shelf and aligned with business priorities.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as the executional partner to Digital Retail CAMs, translating commercial priorities into operational actions.
  • Identity, escalate and resolve blockers that impact revenue, availability, or customer experience.
  • Tracking of all new items and recent assortment additions.
  • Help drive the Nespresso marketplace strategy objectives to help the team achieve targets through accurate forecasting, execution of merchandising & category activations, rationalizing assortments, and contributing to media strategies.
  • Support the organization in the set up of new vectors for growth.
  • Perform analysis of the Digital Shelf (PDPs, Brand Stores, etc.) to inform the strategic direction of the content roadmap and assess how changes impact the business.
  • Lead Nespresso readiness with retailer AI shopping assistants (i.e., Amazon Rufus & Walmart Sparky).
  • Content Roadmap, Assist in defining and executing the digital shelf roadmap (PDPs, brand store, search, copy, ratings & reviews) enhancements in collaboration with Digital Shelf, Commercial Development, Sales, and Marketing.
  • SEO Enhancements, Work with agency partner to enhance organic product search ranking by constantly updating titles, bullets, copy, and back end keywords.
  • A/B Tests, assist in executing and measuring various A/B tests for continuous knowledge and improvement.
  • Maintain reporting tools to track execution health and identify areas for improvement.
  • Build and maintain dashboards tracking sell-out, launch status, pricing, and promotional health.
  • Perform category analysis to understand changes in the category to support strategic decisions to mitigate competitive pressures.
  • Analyze root causes of execution issues and propose process solutions.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Digital Shelf, Supply Chain, and Shopper Marketing to streamline workflows.
  • Share reporting and process best practices with CAMs and Commercial Development teams.

 

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma Required, Bachelor’s Degree is strongly preferred.
  • Ideally this individual will bring at least 3 to 5 years of experience in e-commerce, vendor operations, or digital merchandising.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Vendor Central or Seller Central tools a plus.
  • Basic Financial knowledge - Understating of AMZ P&L and manufacture financials.
  • Strong Project Management skills. Demonstrates ability to work under pressure, managing several projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
  • Strong Analytical skills - Ability to work with numbers: generate reports and statistical data, ability to interpret that data and in turn identify problems, opportunities, trends and develop solutions required.
  • Strong Technical skills - Ability to fluently navigate within customer portals / dashboards as well as internal platforms.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with commercial, content, or supply chain teams.
  • Passion for digital retail and delivering B2B customer solutions.

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $125,000 to $135,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
