Bookkeeper / Accountant
Kforce has a client in New York, NY that is seeking a Bookkeeper/Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting operations of nonprofit organizations. Responsibilities include:
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Processing invoices and payments
- Recording cash receipts and deposits
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Assisting with month-end close activities
- Strong transactional accounting experience
- Experience working with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Financial Edge, Fund EZ, or Sage Intacct
- Excellent attention to detail
- Nonprofit accounting experience is a plus
