Position Overview

The Mammography Technologist is responsible for producing high-quality breast imaging in alignment with ACR standards and nationally recognized protocols. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented technologist who values patient-centered care, collaboration, and working in a specialized breast-only environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures

• Ensure image quality prior to radiologist interpretation

• Provide compassionate, professional patient support throughout the imaging process

• Accurately document procedures within the EMR/RIS system

• Collaborate closely with radiologists and imaging team members

• Participate in quality initiatives that support clinical excellence

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

• ARRT (R) certification required

• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist license required

• Mammography experience preferred (certification may be obtained within 2 years of hire)

• Strong interpersonal skills and patient-focused mindset

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, physician-led private practice environment

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive hourly compensation based on experience

• 4 weeks PTO in year one; 5 weeks PTO in year two; up to 7.5 weeks maximum vacation accrual

• 401(k) funded by physicians after one year - 8.5% employer contribution (employer-funded regardless of employee participation)
