About the Role

The Resource Coordinator will answer the Paths to Healing Helpline and screen all incoming calls from survivors of intimate partner violence seeking services as well as community partners referring clients to services. The Resource Coordinator will complete and process all new referrals and input referrals into the database. The Resource Coordinator is also responsible for providing information about community resources (i.e. counseling, legal services, food pantries, education/vocational programs, children’s activities, etc.) to individuals calling the helpline/staff and will maintain an up-to-date list of these resources. Additionally, the Resource Coordinator will screen all clients for the Office of Victims’ Services compensation program and process and submit these applications. As part of their responsibilities, the Resource Coordinator will maintain a caseload of 8-10 clients seeking Economic Empowerment and/or advocacy services. In addition, they will assist in compiling data from all programs under Community-Based Services for reporting purposes. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for social justice and anti-oppressive practice, experience providing support to survivors of intimate partner violence and/or other forms of trauma, and a desire to work collaboratively with a team of creative and committed clinicians and advocates. The Resource Coordinator will work out of our Harlem office with the opportunity of 2 work from home days.

What You’ll Do

· Answer Helpline calls and emails, process incoming referrals, and input referral information into the database

· Screen all new clients for Office of Victims’ Services compensation eligibility and process/submit applications

· Provide information to clients/community partners about resources in the community and maintain an up-to-date list of these resources

· Maintain a caseload of 8-10 clients seeking Economic Empowerment and/or advocacy services

· Actively engage in interdisciplinary collaboration and case coordination with other PATHS to Healing programs and relevant agencies

· Participate in weekly supervision, weekly team meetings, and other meetings as required

· Maintain program records and complete daily, monthly, and quarterly reports

· Perform administrative tasks as needed, such as compiling data for monthly and quarterly reporting

· Perform basic data entry tasks, stay informed with data platform functions, and ensure accuracy in database management

· Access and navigate the internet for resources, updates, and information relevant to client/program needs

Qualifications

· Bi-lingual English/Spanish, required

· Bachelor’s Degree

· Experience providing support to survivors of intimate partner violence and an understanding of the dynamics of intimate partner violence

· Understanding of trauma-based work

· Excellent communication skills and the desire to connect with resources and community partners

· Passion for incorporating reflective practice around issues of race, oppression, and intersectionality

· Experience providing helpline and/or comprehensive case management services and advocacy

· Keen ability to work with individuals of diverse backgrounds and identities

· Exceptional interpersonal, speaking, and writing skills and the ability to apply these skills in varied situations

· Demonstrated ability to be flexible and work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team as well as independently

· Basic understanding of data entry with attention to detail

· Ability to access the internet and use online resources efficiently

· Ability to work flexible hour

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

• Exempt

• 35 hrs./week, Work hours options are 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, 9:30 am - 5:30 pm, 10 am - 6 pm, Monday-Friday

• Harlem Location or other hubs as needed

• Note: To meet clinical demand, you must be flexible outside of specified work hours.

Base Salary: $62,000/year

Travel (if required): This position does not require ongoing travel or a driver's license.

Physical Requirements: No specific physical requirements for this role

Additional Requirements:

· Authorized to work in the U.S.

· Ability to work in-person in New York City (NY) for at least 3 days or more per week.

· Ability to travel to other Rising Ground sites (if required)
