Full stack application developer
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Full Stack Application Developer to join a prestigious international law firm client. This individual will be a member of the firm's enterprise platforms team for a 3-9 month contract period to assist with increased project workload. This role requires the individual to be a highly skilled and experienced software developer with expertise in Angular, C#, SQL Server, .Net, and Web APIs. The developer will be designing, developing, and maintaining innovative software solutions that meet business needs
The day-to-day responsibilities may include:

Analyze and interpret design documents to build component-based applications in a modern web-delivery environment, emphasizing application-layer abstraction, object-oriented design, and structured integration approaches.

Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure, leveraging Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Key Vault, Azure Storage, and Azure API Management.
Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, integrating automated build, test, and deployment workflows across multiple environments.

Utilize Generative AI tools (e.g., Azure OpenAI Service, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise) and apply prompt engineering techniques to generate and optimize application code, documentation, and test cases.

Build and maintain RESTful APIs and web applications using the latest .NET Framework and .NET Core technologies with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Develop enhancements and feature updates for existing internal and client-facing systems, ensuring seamless Azure integration and code quality standards.

Conduct detailed technical analysis, write specifications, implement new features, and perform unit and integration testing.

Provide production support, troubleshoot system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and deliver long-term fixes and optimizations.

Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product owners, and QA teams to deliver secure, user-centric, and responsive web solutions.
This position will be a 3-9 month contract. This position is fully remote in the US, requiring the individual to work EST hours.
Compensation
$55-$75/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
While on contract, benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Strong application development experience with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, iterative environments

Expertise in Angular 9+, C#, SQL Server, .Net, and Web APIs

Demonstrated experience with Gen AI and prompt engineering for software development, code generation, and automation

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with a proactive approach to technical problem-solving
