Life Sciences Engagement Manager

Life Sciences Engagement Manager (L.E.K. Consulting LLC; New York, NY): Perform administrative work including working with client procurement offices, scheduling cases internally, scheduling client meetings, working with staffing team on staffing and budgeting plans, and ensuring cases are delivered on-budget. Mentor Associates and Associate Consultants as CDC (Career Development Coach). Execute post-case legal and financial administration procedures (expense reports signoff, drafting non-reliance or access letters, client CIM review, and handling PowerPoint or Excel release forms). Develop publications (Executive Insights and White Papers) and Intellectual Property (IP) for the Life Sciences sector. Collaborate with project team members to derive trends, conclusions, and recommendations based upon financial, economic, and statistical analysis. Approve project workplan, model methodologies, and primary/secondary research approaches. Draft Executive Summaries. Manage Life Science Consultants to ensure execution of tasks and quality of materials delivered to clients. Manage client interaction including serving as the main point of contact with clients, leading client meetings, and addressing any tail work and follow up requests. Develop proposals for prospective clients and current client re-engagements. Participate in firm leadership meetings and develop recommendations and firm-wide decisions for company Partners around office with Manager group. Interview prospective candidates and participate in recruiting activities (conferences and panels). Develop strategies for clients to grow in their respective markets including writing detailed technical interview guides, conducting research campaigns with industry experts and focus groups for market analysis, and leading secondary research efforts (with physicians and key opinion leaders).
