Job Description
- Provide legal advice and support on corporate banking transactions and agreements.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal contracts and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in the financial services sector.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to mitigate legal risks and provide strategic guidance.
- Support legal due diligence processes for corporate banking clients.
- Assist in resolving disputes and managing legal claims related to corporate banking activities.
- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and ensure organizational alignment.
- Provide training and guidance to internal teams on legal issues and best practices.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Legal Counsel - Corporate Banking should have:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to the bar in good standing.
- Proven experience in legal counsel roles within the financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of corporate banking laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to addressing legal challenges.
