Full stack engineer

Stripe, Inc. Full Stack Engineer - New York City, New York (and various unanticipated work locations across the U.S.)DUTIES: Design, build, and maintain internal web-based tooling across Stripe using Ruby, React and Typescript. Design, build and maintain APIs, services, and systems across Stripes engineering teams using Ruby and Java. Build, develop, test and deploy software infrastructure. Engineer payments integration with various financial partners software systems. Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation. Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Work with engineers to build new large-scale features. Build new systems to securely store sensitive data; Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes and participate in the team on-call rotation, acting as the first line of response for diagnosing and resolving urgent production incidents affecting the team's systems.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field and 3 years of Software Engineering experience. Position also requires 3 years of experience with the following:Building software systems following object-oriented programming principles and industry-standard design patterns; Building web applications with React, Typescript and JavaScript; Building full-stack web applications at scale to meet large user demands; Designing and implementing REST APIs; Data modeling in SQL and NoSQL databases; Using query languages to create alerting dashboards and conduct investigations, including SQL for databases; Debugging production issues across multiple levels of the stack and services to ensure stability and perform; Building and maintaining software infrastructure, encompassing the full lifecycle from development to testing and deployment; Participating in on-call rotations to diagnose and resolve urgent production incidents and maintain system reliability.- 6 months of experience in developing software solutions using Java.LOCATION: New York City, New York (and various unanticipated work locations across the U.S.)SALARY: $279,000-$289,000 per yearCONTACT: Must send resume to [email protected] and reference job code 5211213 to be considered
