Presently, Westchester Modular markets their homes through a network of independent builders in a nine-state area including all of New England, NY, NJ & PA, and employs about 175 people full time in their plant near the Connecticut border in Windgale, New York.

About the Position
Westchester Modular Homes has an immediate opening for an Architectural Draftsperson. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years professional practice using AutoCAD and expertise of wood-frame construction standards. We are seeking for a flexible, self-motivated, and team-oriented individual to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to join the leading modular home manufacturer in the Northeast!

Responsibilities/General Requirements:

»Proficiency in AutoCAD

» 2-4 year degree or related practice

»Draft all required drawings for custom modular homes from floor plans, elevations and cross sections to mechanical and final construction drawings

» capability to read and interpret sales orders and draft floor plans to the supplied specifications

» practice in wood-frame construction and related code requirements preferred

»Attention to detail and capability to focus on task assignments to meet weekly goals

»Communicate and collaborate with our sales and production teams to ensure accuracy and quality

»In-person position (not remote)
