This position can be based in Chicago, New York, or Washington, D.C.

Key Responsibilities

• Regulatory Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor by delivering practical, business-oriented guidance on regulatory requirements impacting trading activities and new initiatives
• Strategic Partnership: Work closely with senior stakeholders to support expansion into new products, markets, and partnerships across both crypto and traditional finance
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams (including trading, tax, finance, and HR) as well as external counsel to execute on complex, multi-jurisdictional projects
• Regulatory Monitoring & Engagement: Track legal and policy developments and help shape the firm's approach through internal advocacy and external engagement with regulators and industry groups

Candidate Profile

• J. xrczosw D. and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 5-10 years of relevant experience, ideally focused on financial services regulation
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing securities, derivatives, and digital assets (e.g., SEC, CFTC, AML regimes)
• Experience working across both traditional financial products and crypto-related matters
• Exposure to non-U.S. regulatory environments is advantageous
• Interest in market structure, policy developments, and regulatory trends is a plus
• Self-starter with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders across functions
