Morehouse Appliances is seeking a motivated individual with great communication skills to join our sales team. We are seeking an individual with the ability to create a memorable and exceptional experience for our clients. You will be responsible for assisting the client along the entire appliances sales process from initial contact to support after the sale along with other sales and inventory related duties.

• Maintaining your area : You will be assigned an area to maintain which will include tasks like updating inventory location, flooring, pricing, rebating, cleaning, etc.
• Customer Engagement : Greet and assist customers, assess their needs, and offer tailored recommendations; build positive and ongoing customer relationships.
• Product Knowledge : Maintain expert-level knowledge of all products, specifications, and features; stay up-to-date with new appliance releases and technology trends.
• Sales Performance : Present and demonstrate products, achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets, and process transactions including financing options.
• Inventory Support : Help receive and stock new inventory off trucks, set up floor models, ensure accurate product labeling and attractive merchandising.
• Team Collaboration : Support coworkers, contribute to team goals, and assist with training new hires if required; communicate effectively with management.
• After-Sales Service : Explain warranties, service plans, and handle customer inquiries regarding repairs, returns, or exchanges.
• Compliance & Professionalism : Adhere to all company policies, dress code, and safety regulations; maintain a neat and organized workspace.
• Reporting : Provide management with useful customer feedback, report issues, and communicate ideas for improvement.
• Marketing & Store Events : Support in-store promotions and participate in marketing activities or community events as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent needed; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
• 1-2+ years of retail sales experience, needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to explain products and answer questions.
• Proven customer service, relationship-building, and closing abilities.
• Proficiency with sales and POS software, CRM, and basic computer tasks.
• Organized and detail-oriented approach to recording sales and handling paperwork.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
• Willingness to stand for long periods and lift/move standard appliances during incoming shipment/stocking the floor.
