Litigation Legal Assistant - Elite Firm
Our client, an elite New York law firm, is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to join their team and support their busy practice.
The information below covers the role requirements, expected candidate experience, and accompanying qualifications.This role involves preparing a full range of Supreme and Surrogate’s Court filings—including motions, briefs, affidavits, affirmations, litigation backs, and exhibit binders—while independently gathering and organizing all exhibits; handling advanced Word formatting (TOCs, TOAs, bookmarking); managing dictation/transcription through Phillips SpeechExec and mini‑cassettes; performing Bates‑stamping; e‑filing across all New York courts and PACER; monitoring matters through eTracks; maintaining attorney calendars and contacts in Outlook; scheduling client calls and Zoom meetings; and coordinating with vendors for depositions, appellate printing, and service of process.
