Unit: Interventional Radiology

Shift: Days, 7:30 AM-8:00 PM, 12 hours/shift, 3 shifts a week
Weekly Expected Hours: 34.5 hours/ week

Location: New Yok, NY

Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)

Pay for local nurses:- $75/hour -$85/hour

Pay for travler nurses :- $3000/week - $3500/week

Job Overview:

The Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN) provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing minimally invasive, image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The RN works closely with interventional radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care before, during, and after procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments prior to procedures.
• Review medical history, labs, allergies, and consent forms.
• Prepare patients for interventional procedures (IV access, medication administration, education).
• Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients throughout procedures.
• Continuously monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythm, oxygen saturation, and patient response.
• Assist physicians during procedures while maintaining sterile technique.
• Recognize and respond to complications or emergencies.
• Provide post-procedure recovery care and monitor for adverse reactions.

RN01

Requirements:

• 2 years of recent RN Interventional Radiology - experience in acute care hospital settings.
• NY State RN License
• BLS Certified through AHA
• ACLS Certified through AHA
