Global Supplier Management - Indirect Senior Manager
Description
This role will be instrumental in supporting the Science?Based Target glide path, empowering ELC to reach its sustainability goals by engaging targeted suppliers. Moreover, this person will drive the development and growth of diverse and small businesses in the supplier base, enabling equitable participation in the ELC supply chain. Successful candidates must work well in a fast?paced and ambiguous environment, and will be working alongside highly collaborative and entrepreneurial colleagues. This role will influence approx. 100 million across FC and FM Core.

Further developing and executing the category strategy for FM & FC by driving market intelligence, technology and suppliers' capabilities that match ELC's needs

Partner with the business on specific technology projects to secure the right equipment and aftersales services

Run the S2C (source?to?contract) procurement process from RFI, RFP, RFQ to business case analysis, supplier selection, negotiation and contracting. During the life of the contract, lead the supplier relationship management process

Collaborate with business partners to understand the needs, objectives and priorities to improve cost, service and quality of spend covered

Prepare and Run RFx's

Deliver year on year 3?5 % cost reduction in the respective category

In addition to the savings delivery, the person is tasked to implement a much stronger strategic approach to supplier relationship management.

Drive contract negotiations with suppliers

Manage supplier relationships that help achieve maximum value from the supply base

Identification of suppliers to drive the desired business outcomes (i.e. select, and qualify the suppliers based on category strategies)

Continuously evaluate options to reduce total cost of ownership

Risk mitigation of suppliers and developing business continuity plans
Qualifications

Professional procurement certification (e.g. CIPS) preferred but not essential.

5+ years directly related experience either in a corporate branded environment addressing indirect categories/procurement projects, or from an FMCG marketing department with specific Agency engagement experience, or even a media/digital agency itself.

Demonstrated successful results in managing and leading and/or engaging in strategic procurement activities.

Proven ability to lead internal and external teams to ensure successful and professional procurement activities.

Basic experience of influencing and managing successful change processes.

High level of interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems using data from various sources with strong attention to detail.

Diplomacy with strong listening and analyzing skills.

Good oral and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate to stakeholders at all levels.

Confidence in developing internal and external relationships and presenting to c-suite executives.

Advanced EXCEL skills (confidence with large data files).

An advantage would be to have an SAP/SRM, SAP/Ariba experience, and basic understanding of the P2P process.
