Personal Injury Associate Attorney (5-10 Years Exp)

Our firm is seeking a driven, high-energy Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join our litigation practice ( either in our Queens Village or North Babylon location ). This role is ideal for a junior attorney who wants hands-on experience and a direct path to meaningful advocacy. You will work closely with senior attorneys to manage a diverse caseload of personal injury matters from initial intake through resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Case Management: Manage litigation files from inception to trial, including drafting complaints, answers, and discovery requests.
• Advocacy & Writing: Conduct legal research and draft high-quality motions, briefs, and legal memoranda.
• Discovery: Represent clients at depositions, manage document production, and draft responses to interrogatories.
• Court Appearances: Attend hearings, status conferences, and mediations on behalf of our clients.
• Negotiation: Assist in settlement negotiations and prepare demand letters to insurance companies or opposing counsel.

Skills

- Proficiency in personal injury law
- Experience in legal drafting and legal research
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to negotiate with adjuster and work effectively with others

Requirements:

- JD and admission to NY Bar required

- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with sensitive information.

- Must be admitted in NY.
