Adecco is partnering with a global leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of ophthalmic lenses, frames, and sunglasses to hire for a Production Associate position in Orangeburg, NY. As a Production Associate , you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely production of high-quality lenses and eyewear. This position requires flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to learn and rotate through various functions within the production environment. You will be cross-trained and may move between departments based on business needs.

Location: Orangeburg, NY
Shift: Multiple shifts available to meet your needs!
1st Shift : 7 AM – 3:30 PM
2nd Shift : 3:30 PM – 12 AM
Pay Rate: Starting at $17 with shift differentials
Temp-to-hire opportunity for the right person!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery and tools used in lens production and finishing

• Handling lenses and frames with precision and care throughout various production stages

• Performing quality checks to ensure products meet optical and cosmetic standards

• Maintaining accurate documentation and tracking of work

• Collaborating with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and shift transitions

• Learning and adapting to new tasks quickly, with a proactive approach to training and development

• Supporting multiple areas such as machine operation, lens inspection, blocking, polishing, tinting, edging, and assembly as needed

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work

• A willingness to cross-train and adapt to different tasks and departments as needed

• Flexibility to work across various areas within the production environment

• The ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods

• While no prior production experience is required, familiarity with manufacturing or lab settings is a plus!

Pay Details: $17.00 to $17.75 per hour
