Kitchen Line Cook
Job Summary:
Private Country Club is seeking to hire driven individuals to add to its team of culinary professionals. We will be considering applications from team oriented candidates with varying skill sets looking to grow into existing and future opportunities with our club. We are looking for good communicators and professionally driven candidates. We are a member driven facility that requires all candidates to have a hospitality background, good attitude, and strong work ethic.
Employees are responsible for working together with hospitality team to serve members in various dining settings to a high standard of service. Employees will report to the Food and Beverage Manager and Chef, and must be able to follow instructions, be punctual, and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
Hours: Open Tuesday - Sunday. Lunch & Dinner Shifts.Full Time and Part Time Positions Available.
Pay : Competitive / Based on Experience. $18-$21 per hour. Position Responsibilities:
- Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations.
- Preparing food including cleaning and cooking of ingredients creating appetizers, salads and main dishes .
- Plating prepared foods based on Chef’s guidance.
- Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time.
- Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts.
Positions Requirements:
- Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations.
- Displaying positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure with other team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and execute orders in a timely manner.
- Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
