Events and PR Coordinator Location New York, NY : Title: Events and PR Coordinator Company: Everest Global Services, Inc. Job Category: Marketing & Communications : The Everest Marketing & Communications team is looking for a self-motivated, creative, collaborative, and solution-oriented events and PR coordinator with superior interpersonal and communication skills to join their team. This role will support Everest's external communications and event programming including planning, logistics and coordination to assist in delivering impactful and engaging events that amplify brand awareness, build business relationships, drive business growth, and generate excitement around the Everest brand. This role will report to the Events Lead. The ideal candidate will:
  • Be organized and able to set and maintain deliverable timelines as well as have an aptitude for managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Have a strong work ethic and follow through, eager to roll up their sleeves, solve problems, and do what it takes to get the job done successfully.
  • Have project management experience and pay meticulous attention to details and deadlines.
  • Be collaborative and able to work seamlessly as part of a cross functional team.
  • Responsibilities to include but are not limited to: Events:
    • Support the development of event concepts and presentations and provide event administrative support to the Events Lead including conceptualizing event themes, researching and developing venue proposals, providing vendor and giveaway recommendations, developing budget estimates, and partnering with internal stakeholders.
    • Prepare and manage event timelines, coordinate and process invoices, and prepare expenditure reports.
    • Lead the event invitation and RSVP process including creating and managing registration sites, developing invitation copy, coordinating invite lists, distributing invitations and managing RSVP lists.
    • Coordinate day-of logistical elements (i.e. food and beverage, audio visual needs, security), be the problem-solver to ensure everything goes smoothly.
    • Manage and execute day of event prep and breakdown (i.e. event set-up, giveaways, shipping of branding and materials) and conduct post-event follow-up and reporting.
    • Create and manage the master Marketing & Communications team events calendar.
    Public Relations:
    • Support the AVP of Public Relations & External Communications with media relations needs including media monitoring and media coverage reports following press releases, earnings and industry news announcements.
    • Develop background materials and briefing books for events and media interviews.
    • Help with metric tracking and monthly reporting.
    • Research and track industry awards, conferences and speaking opportunities.
    Work Experience and Qualifications:
    • BA in public relations, marketing, hospitality or related field, or equivalent work experience.
    • Minimum 1-3 years of experience developing and executing events from concept to execution.
    • Financial services industry experience is a plus.
    • Proficiency in MS Office software, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    For NYC Only: The base salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 annually.
