Luxor at Mills Pond Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Dietary Supervisor to join our Food & Nutrition Services team. This leadership role is ideal for someone who is passionate about quality food service, team development, and creating a positive dining experience for our residents.

As the Dietary Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the dietary department, ensuring meals are prepared and served safely, efficiently, and in accordance with physician orders and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the Dietary Department.

• Lead, coach, and support dietary staff to ensure exceptional service and teamwork.

• Assist with scheduling, staffing, training, and performance management.

• Ensure meals are prepared and served according to physician-prescribed diets and resident preferences.

• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, local, and facility food safety regulations.

• Monitor food quality, sanitation, portion control, and meal presentation.

• Conduct routine kitchen inspections to ensure cleanliness and regulatory compliance.

• Work closely with the Registered Dietitian and interdisciplinary team to meet residents' nutritional needs.

• Maintain inventory and assist with ordering food and supplies.

• Promote a clean, organized, and resident-focused dining environment.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a dietary, food service, or healthcare setting required.

• Skilled Nursing Facility, Rehabilitation Center, Hospital, or Long-Term Care experience preferred.

• Knowledge of therapeutic diets, food safety, and sanitation regulations.

• ServSafe Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Passion for providing exceptional customer service and resident satisfaction.
