The Premier Mortgage Consultant will be responsible to originate high quality residential first and second lien mortgage loans that meet HSBC's credit, compliance, workflow and other rules and guidelines. Develop and maintain long-term relationships with Premier Relationship Managers, realtors, builders, attorneys, financial advisors and other external sources. Counsel customers on various types of mortgage financing, choosing a program best suited to their needs. Complete mortgage application, follow through to closing and resolve any problems.
Here's what you can expect:
- Originate complete and accurate mortgage applications.
- Exceed customer expectations (both external and internal) at every touch point (phone, email, chat, etc.)
- Fulfill expressed and unexpressed financial needs of clients, wherever they might be around the world or in life.
For this role, HSBC targets a fixed pay range between $125,000.00 and $300,000.00.
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

This position requires an individual with:
- Minimum of two years proven mortgage sales, processing and/or underwriting experience or equivalent.
- Minimum of an associate degree or equivalent experience.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, as well as highly motivated.
- Strong working knowledge of mortgage products, qualification guidelines and mortgage application documentation.
- Strong knowledge of secondary market guidelines and compliance requirements.
- Strong knowledge with financial products and services as well as pertinent regulations impacting their delivery to customers.
- Incumbents in this role must successfully register with the Nationwide Mortgage
- Licensing System Registry (NMLSR) and must obtain a unique identifier through the registry that will be provided to consumers with whom the incumbent interacts. In addition, incumbents in this role must successfully renew their registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System Registry (NMLSR) annually.
- Ability to meet project deadlines and objectives independently and within the team.
