Spore.Bio is a deeptech start-up born in 2023, building a new paradigm in the quality control systems in Food&Beverage, Cosmetics, and Pharmaceutics factories.
After spending a lot of time in factories environments, we saw the pain it was to make sure products were safe. Traditional quality control has heavy constraints and long waiting times. To change that, we decided to build Spore.Bio, a new generation of microbiological testing.
Our team is dedicated to bringing technology and developing a cutting-edge solution, based on advanced optical and deep-learning technologies, to detect bacterial contamination within seconds.
If you ready to revolutionize microbiology monitoring in factories - Spore.Bio is actively seeking an experienced and motivated Pharma Microbiology Expert to take on the role of QC Pharma Partnership Lead . This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of product & partnership development, working closely with the CEO and cross-functional teams to build the Spore.Bio Pharma stream. As a QC Pharma partnership lead, you will play a pivotal role in translating customer needs into cutting-edge products that address real-world challenges in the fields of microbiology.
About the role
- Strategic Partnership Development : Identify and build partnerships with pharmaceutical clients to drive adoption of Spore.Bio’s microbiology solutions, enhancing customer value and revenue growth.
- Product Strategy Leadership : Partner with the CEO to define product requirements that align with industry standards and address customer pain points in pharmaceutical QC.
- R&D Collaboration : Work closely with our Research and Development (R&D) division. Your input will be invaluable in shaping the technical direction of our product development efforts.
- Pilot Project Oversight : Oversee the flawless execution of ongoing pilot projects with our esteemed customers. Your meticulous attention to detail and hands-on approach will ensure the successful implementation of our solutions in real-world settings.
- Market Analysis : Support the CEO by contributing to market research and gaining a deep understanding of customer needs that will play a pivotal role in guiding our product strategy and development roadmap.
About you
Required qualifications/ experience :
- Education : Master’s degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field; PhD or certifications in pharmaceutical QC are a plus.
- Experience : 5+ years in pharmaceutical microbiology testing, preferably in GMP-compliant labs, manufacturing facilities, or supplier quality roles.
- Technical Expertise : Deep knowledge of Pharma QC processes, microbial testing methods, and regulatory standards (e.g., USP, EP, FDA).
- Leadership and Communication : Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Problem-Solving : Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges independently in a fast-paced environment.
