Entry-Level Plant Operations Technician, Corrugated Packaging

What Success Looks Like

In this role, you’ll rotate across production tasks—mastering equipment operation, measuring materials precisely, and verifying that every order matches the spec. You’ll read and act on digital, written, and verbal instructions; apply basic math to daily work; and use test tools to confirm quality. When a pallet leaves your area, it’s counted, stacked, labeled, and free of defects.

Pay, Schedule, and Location

• Hourly Rate: $19.28 up to $28
• Classification: Hourly, Full-Time
• Shifts: 2nd (3:00 pm–11:00 pm) or 3rd (11:00 pm–7:00 am)

The Work You’ll Master

• Safely operate production machinery and perform general plant duties.
• Use a tape measure confidently; apply basic calculations.
• Read factory orders; follow instructions across multiple formats.
• Employ test/inspection equipment to verify specs.
• Inspect outbound product and documentation for accuracy.
• Spot and communicate manufacturing defects immediately.
• Count, stack, and stage finished goods efficiently.

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or GED
• Comfort with Shipping/Receiving processes
• Strong tape measure skills and attention to detail
